Specialty Rx

This page summarizes general safety considerations for compounded peptide and GLP-family medications available through Soluna Specialty Rx. It is general information, not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for the guidance your evaluating provider gives you about your specific prescription.
Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed 503A pharmacy for your individual prescription. They are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing consistency in the way an approved drug product has. Talk to your provider about what that means for the specific medication you've been prescribed.
Before starting any new medication, tell your evaluating provider about every other medication, supplement, and vitamin you take, as well as any medical conditions or allergies you have. Do not start, stop, or change a dose on your own — follow the instructions your provider and pharmacy give you.
If you experience a side effect, an allergic reaction, or anything that concerns you after starting a compounded medication, contact your provider promptly. If you're experiencing a medical emergency — difficulty breathing, severe allergic reaction, or similar — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately; do not wait for a response through this site.
Follow the storage instructions provided with your medication exactly — many compounded injectables require refrigeration and have a limited stability window once reconstituted. Improper storage can affect both safety and effectiveness. Keep all medications out of reach of children and pets, and dispose of unused or expired medication according to your pharmacy's instructions, not household trash.
Soluna does not claim that any product cures, treats, mitigates, or prevents any disease, and individual results vary. Your evaluating provider is the right source for guidance specific to your health and your prescription.
